Celebrate Three Decades of Virginia Passenger Rail Progress!

Join Virginians for High Speed Rail (VHSR) as we celebrate three decades of passenger rail across Virginia.

Formally launched in 1994 as a partnership between the Richmond and Hampton Roads business communities, VHSR has been working ever since to educate and advocate for fast, frequent, reliable, and safe passenger rail service connecting Virginia's communities to destinations across the nation.

Our 30th Anniversary Luncheon will not only celebrate VHSR, but also the tremendous progress that is underway expanding and improving passenger rail across the Commonwealth by our partners at the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority, Virginia Dept. of Rail and Public Transportation, Virginia Railway Express, and Amtrak.

There will also be a legislative resolution presentation and an update on passenger rail projects in Virginia.

Transportation:

The National Landing Experience Center is located directly above the Crystal City Metro Station (Blue/Yellow lines), adjacent to the Crystal City VRE station, and three Metro stops from the Alexandria Amtrak/VRE Station. There are also several parking decks within walking distance.
